Danielle Bacque - artist biography
Earth and Elements - (K–6) Explore the different properties of natural elements through creative movement and drama. Recreate the physical, emotional and intricate properties of the natural world around us while learning balance and change of various ecosystems. Applicable to an environmental curriculum. (3 for 3)
Ancient Art of Belly Dance - (7–12 girls) Excellent part of physical education and health curriculum. Belly dancing is a proven method of aerobic exercise, toning and emotional well-being. Trace the evolution of what is considered to be one of the oldest dance forms in the world from its origins in ancient Persia to its modern day presence. Exceptional multicultural lesson that ties in with women’s studies. Great for P.E. classes! (3 for 3)
Parts of Speech - (K–4) Through movement, students can learn about the different parts of speech by acting them out. A fun way to incorporate the arts with grammar. (3 for 3)
Creative Movement - (K–4) Introduces the fundamentals of dance while exercising teamwork, communication and creative thinking skills. Elements of dance to be explored include space, time, level, direction and rhythm. (3 for 3)

West African Music and Dance - (K–12) Students will learn about the characteristics of West African music and dance, as well as its place and function in African society, through discussion of and hands-on participation in learning a drumming and dance style of the Ewe of Ghana, West Africa. Drums and other instruments will also be provided. (3 for 1 only)

Joli Noel - artist biography
The Living Pictures: Bring A Masterpiece to Life - (5-12) This lesson deals with the principles of Tableau and may be utilized in dealing with great works of art or famous people, places and events in time.
Science Dance - (9-12) Lessons may be adapted to other grade levels by teacher request. Creative movement used to examine and explore scientific topics of high school students. Past studies include: photosynthesis and cellular respiration, mitosis and meiosis, protein synthesis, Chromosome Dance and DNA sequencing. Other topics may be explored and adapted with advance notification.
Math in Motion - (7–8) This lesson uses creative movement to explore the math curriculum. Ideas that may be used could include dancing the number line, symmetry, slope and Y intersection, and greater than and less than.
Life and Its Habitat - (K-4) Creative movement interpretations of inhabitants of various regions. At the teacher’s request, terrains touched upon in this project may include: mountains, streams, lakes, ponds, deserts, seas, jungles, forests and wetlands.
Express Yourself - (K-8) A creative movement study on showing emotions through body language. Students explore ways to communicate feelings by involving their own individual language of movement with and without facial expressions involved. At the teacher’s request, this lesson may be adapted to a study on opposition for younger grade levels.
