The Acadiana Arts Council's Arts in Education program strives to make quality arts-in-education opportunities available to administrators, educators and students through performance, hands-on arts experiences, professional development training in the arts and funding. These co-curricular arts-in-education offerings are available to students in grades K-12 and to teachers of all disciplines.

JULY CLASSES AT THE ACA Ages 6 - 12 and high school students! The Creativity Center at the AcA is offering classes as part of the Young Masters Series in July. These daily workshops are for children ages 6 - 12. In addition to the Young Masters Series, a mask making studio class will be offered for high school students. Professional Development Workshops - A program of Acadiana Arts Council's Arts in Education department. Our workshops demonstrate practical and proven techniques for teaching in, about and through the arts. Designed primarily for educators in a classroom environment, the workshops are also applicable to parents or those who work with children in any sort of teaching environment.
